Dynautics supplied the navigation, platform control, power management and communication systems that enables Autonaut’s Caravela, an unmanned surface vehicle, to undertake climate research in Barbados.
Dynautics Spectre navigation systems are used on both unmanned surface and unmanned sub-surface vehicles. Managing the platforms payloads needs careful power management, harvesting energy in the solar panels and budgeting that energy across the transducers and propulsion is a key role of the Power management modules from Dynautics.
The communication modules for close range VHF remote control and longer range Satellite are also supplied and managed by Dynautics.
All the team at Dynautics wish the Autonaut team and the East Anglia University team all the very best in their research.
